Our Goals

At Altamahaw Ossipee Elementary School, our mission is to educate and nurture all students in our community.  We strive to aid them in becoming goal-oriented individuals who grow into college and career ready citizens.

As a united professional learning community where children feel connected, capable, and cared for, A.O. educators aim to challenge and motivate students to be globally prepared, lifelong learners.  These skills are fostered through exemplary classroom collaboration using data-informed instructional practices.
